2009 August Women’s Fire Sale Tour, Slovenia
August 17 to 26, 2009
This year’s Women’s Fire Sale was based in Maribor, Slovenia, and run by Cory Solomon & Nick Ptaschinski. We were fortunate to have 16 coaches and mangers in attendance during the week representing clubs from Austria, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Montenegro, and of course Slovenia. Players were also sent to clubs in other countries for tryouts or contracts as we were in touch with clubs from all over Europe daily.
Players arrived to the Dras Center in Maribor, Slovenia on their own on August 17 and the tour ran for 9 nights until the 26th. Please see the Tour Journal for more details, placement information, and comments from the players.
