Team Blake, Journal #2

Today, we woke up early and played volleyball at 10:00. A few of us were a little late to breakfast. Blake wasn't too happy. We had to walk to the Bomb Shelter Gym to play are first game we kicked butt and won!!! We played Zok Kranj, the scores 25-15, 25-22. Wahoo!!! We ate at a Pizzeria and Blake paid for all of us to eat. Some people shopped on the way back and others just went onto the hotel. At 2:45 we met in the lobby and walked to the other gym for our second game at 4:30 and came out with another win!!! We played UMAG and beat them 25-24, 25-20 the tourney states you can win by 1 point as the gyms (tournament) will run faster and teams won’t wait around. After that we had to hurry up and go grab a bit to eat before are next game back at the Bomb shelter. As we were walking we got scared by the people letting off fireworks. We continued to our last match and once again came out with a win!!! We defeated FUNTANA in 2 games and played so well. Our offense and defense was working for us and we made changes when the coaches asked. Together we managed to play really well. We than had to walk back for dinner in the freezing cold. We ate dinner which was very good tonight, especially the desserts. Than we watch Lauren try to translate Slovenian with some of the locals, very entertaining. That was our day today we r now 3-2 and having a blast!
