Manos Unidas
Manos Unidas is an empowerment program and cooperative for adults with disabilities in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. The mission is to foster friendships, individual independence and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities through art and the selling of goods produced solely by the members of the cooperative. All participants receive fair wages and art classes.
Escuela Adelante
The Casa Llanta Fund provides textbooks for over 300 students attending Escuela Adelante in San Juan del Sur. This school is dedicated to honoring the unique needs of students of all ages – whether it means preparing for a successful career as an entrepreneur or preparing for a university degree.  Supplying books for the students in this program is critical to the success of the students.
University Scholarships
Our scholarship program called Becas del Carizal was founded with the proceeds from the Pitaya Festival. Since 2012 we've provided university scholarships for between 5-7 students each year to aspiring young adults who wish to continue education but are unable to afford it. Our students have graduated with varying degrees including engineering and tourism management. Â
