Logan Tom, born May 25, 1981, in Napa, California, is one of the most accomplished volleyball players in U.S. history. She became the youngest woman ever selected for the U.S. Olympic Volleyball Team at age 19, making her debut at the 2000 Sydney Games. A four-time Olympian, Tom helped lead Team USA to silver medals in both the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics.
Her collegiate career at Stanford University was equally stellar, earning four consecutive First-Team All-American honors and two National Player of the Year awards while leading the Cardinal to an NCAA championship in 2001. Professionally, Tom’s career spanned 12 countries, where she secured eight championships, including titles with Fenerbahce in the CEV Champions League and Unilever Vôlei in Brazil’s Superliga. She also ventured into beach volleyball, earning AVP Rookie of the Year in 2006. Post-retirement, Tom transitioned into coaching, notably serving as head coach for the Israel women’s national volleyball team from 2020 to 2022. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the sport, she was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2021.
