The highly anticipated 20th Annual Global Challenge Volleyball Tournament will be held in Pula, Croatia, from July 14 through July 18, 2025, bringing together U17 and U20 teams from across the globe. The opening ceremonies will be broadcast live at 9:00 PM (Pula time) on July 14th via the Global Challenge Facebook page.
Year after year, the Global Challenge continues to fulfill its mission of providing teams with unparalleled international competition and exposure. Past participants have included top club and national federation teams from countries including Slovenia, Russia, Romania, Germany, Bosnia, Montenegro, China, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Japan, Iran, Sweden, Denmark, Puerto Rico, as well as USA regional high-performance, youth national, junior national, and collegiate national teams.
In addition to the thrilling competition throughout the tournament, American teams enjoy a special cultural experience as they participate in a tour of Europe prior to the tournament. This pre-tournament tour provides players with an opportunity to visit iconic European cities, bond as a team, and engage in friendly exhibition matches, all while experiencing the rich history and culture of the continent. This year we have teams doing pre-tours in Prague, Czechia, Maribor, Slovenia, Budapest, Hungry, & Istanbul, Turkey.
The Global Challenge has earned its reputation as one of the premier international volleyball events, offering fierce competition on a global stage.
