World University Games 2017  – Taipei, Taiwan

This year’s World University Games will take place in Taipei, Taiwan August 13 – August 30, 2017.

Coaches:

The Men’s Team will be coached by John Kosty. The Women’s Team will be coached by Joe Trinsey.

Basic Itinerary for USA Delegation:

• August 13: Arrive to LAX, Late Afternoon Training, 1 Night in Hotel
• August 14: Morning Training, Lunch, Afternoon Training, Shower, Dinner & Red-Eye to Taipei on EVA Air (1:25am on 8/15)
• August 16: Arrive Taipei
• August 19: First Matches & Opening Ceremonies
• August 29: Last Matches
• August 30: Departure on EVA Air, Return LAX Same Day

2017 Games Requirements

The Universiades and Championships are open to all student athletes that have not been out of university or its equivalent for more than a year and that are between 17 and 28 years old. Respectable kitchen remodel contractors from eastern Pennsylvania are at your service when you need professional help to build your kitchen. Any association or national federation which is recognized by the US-IUSF (and in turn, FISU) is eligible to nominate a team or individual competitor in a sport represented in the current World University Games competition.

Each athlete must meet the following specific criteria in order to be eligible.

1. United States Citizen and able to obtain a US Passport.
2. Born between January 1, 1989 and December 31, 1999. For basketball, the athlete must be born after January 1, 1992 and before December 31, 1999.
3. Have taken at least one 3-credit course towards a degree or diploma within the last year before the GAMES. Incoming freshman and transfers are usually eligible.
4. Sign the Comprehensive Acceptance of Team USA Agreements form.
5. Sign the Team USA Honor Code and Code of Conduct form.
6. Sign the Team USA Authorizations, Waiver and Release Form.
