BIP has formed a partnership with the Botswana Volleyball Federation to help improve the overall level of the National Team and develop players within Botswana. Our first big step is to bring more American Players, University and club coaches to work with their players. In addition, we are inviting players to Botswana to work with their young players and play friendly matches against their teams. This will allow our USA players to further work with the young players from Botswana.

This trip will include clinics and friendly matches in Gaborone, Palapye and Kasane, Botswana. All players will be asked to bring one extra bag on the trip with volleyball items to donate to the national teams and club teams within the country. A list of items will be provided, and we can facilitate procurement of used balls and other volleyball equipment and apparel but need your extra baggage to bring it over.

Dates: Depart Washington, DC- IAD on August 13, 2024 – Arrive in Gaborone, Botswana on August 14, 2024. Leave from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe on August 24, arrive IAD- Washington, DC on August 25, 2024.

In addition to the clinics and friendly matches, the trip will include 4 different kinds of day safaris in Gaborone, Palapye and Kansane and a visit to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

Cost: $3750 including round trip airfare from Washington, DC. This includes all hotels, breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, activities, ground transportation and safari fees.

$300 Deposit is due May 31, 2024.

Note: Zimbaube will require a tourist visa upon entry to the country for a small fee not covered by the tour.
